A grimdark fanfic that involves the 'use' of 'flawed' pegasi to make rainbows. I wouldn't read it, it's pretty sad, but if you want to know more, a quick Google search will get you what you want.

Grimdark, huh? Haven't read one of those, yet. Great; now I have another "explicit" fic that I have to choose between reading (along with "Cupcakes" and "Sweet Apple Massacre." Thanks for the info.

Save S.A.M for last, in my eyes it is the worst of them. It almost made me throw up, while Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory merely made me cringe...
If you can't handle any of the first two, don't even bother.

Cupcakes and Sweet Apple Massacre are not worth reading. They're only well-known for the shock value. If you want a good gore fic, read Cheerilee's Garden. You can find the full story here:
